Back to school is always a challenging period for most families. Your generous donations will help those underprivileged children return to school with basic supplies. We envision every child having the best learning opportunities possible, beginning with the tools they need to succeed in the classroom. This vision can be hampered for many families by  already  stretched  budgets.  The  Back  to School  drive  will provide  students  in  both American and Cameroon communities  with  the  supplies  they  need  to  succeed  this school year.

Our goal is to give away school supplies to over 500 K-12 students both here in the USA and in Bafut Cameroon. We hope to serve every student who is in need, but we depend on financial support from individuals, families, businesses and organizations like yours.

The case of Bafut is even worst because of the crisis many of the children cannot go to school.  These children apart from missing out on their educational development, they are also deprived of other important benefits as well. Going to school is known to provide a degree of stability and normalcy in the traumatized lives of IDC. Returning to school can be a critical source of psychosocial support. UBA-MARYLAND intends to help with their school needs.
